Full registration includes NEDC25 Welcome Reception, 2-day conference and National Economic Development Awards for Excellence Gala. Single-day registration does not include access to social functions. Attendance at social functions can be purchased during registration.
The 2025 National Economic Development Conference (NEDC25) kicks off with Study Tours. Please see important information below regarding the sessions. To see what you are registered for, visit My Profile, Account Settings in the app. It is essential that you check in at the registration desk prior to proceeding to the Study Tours. The registration desk is open from 8:30am - 12:00pm in the foyer on level 1 of Newcastle City Hall. =b=Tour 1: The Innovation and Sustainability Story Please meet at 9:15am at the front of Newcastle City Hall. The tour will depart at 9:30am sharp by bus. Tour will arrive back at Newcastle City Hall at 3:15pm. =b=Tour 2: Local Action, Global Impact Please meet at 9:15am at the front of Newcastle City Hall. The tour will depart at 9:30am sharp by foot. Tour will arrive back at Newcastle City Hall at 4:15pm. =b=Tour 3: Shaping a Creative Community Please meet at 10:15am at the front of Newcastle City Hall. The tour will depart at 10:30am sharp by bus. Tour will arrive back at Newcastle City Hall at 4:00pm. Lunch is included for all Study Tours.
Tickets must be pre-purchased via the NEDC25 website. Last year tickets sold out a month before NEDC24, so be sure to register in advance to avoid disappointment.
Yes, during the registration process there is an option to select pay via invoice. You can also input a PO number.
In the event of cancellation, you will be contacted by Economic Development Australia and an automatic refund will be returned to your original method of payment.
Yes! Complimentary tea and coffee will be available all day on day 2 and 3 of NEDC in The Hive. There will also be complimentary barista coffee available in The Hive from registration until the end of morning tea on both day 2 and day 3, thanks to GrantGuru!
